Where to Stay for Tomball Christmas Market
If you have never been to the Tomball German Christmas Market and Festival, plan for a couple of days. It is a street fair, music festival, and open-air Christmas Market bundled into a Holiday celebration, and well worth taking your time to enjoy.
We’ve been numerous times over the years, and it never disappoints! Similar to Austin’s famous artisan street fairs, this is outdoor Holiday fun Texas style!

Budget Hotel – Holiday Inn Express in Tomball. This is a basic hotel, clean, comfortable and close to the celebrations.
Mid-range Hotel – The Hampton Inn and Suites – Tomball provides for a reliable hotel chain. The suites have quite a few amenities.
Luxury Hotel – The Woodlands Resort is a a few miles away but the hotel is amazing. Located on the water channels, in the heart of the Woodlands, a suburb of Houston, it is a upscale resort with all the trimmings.
Where to Find Tomball Christmas Market
Tomball, Texas, is located 45 miles NW of Houston, Texas.
The German Fest and Christmas House is held in Old Town, near the Historical Train Depot Plaza on the old downtown streets of Tomball, Texas – 201 S. Elm Street, close to the corner of Main St. (FM 2920) and Market St. But you will see and hear the event long before you reach Elm Street.
The “Weihnachtshaus” or Christmas House will be held inside the Heritage Community Center at 221 Market Street @ Cherry Street.
Admission to the event is free.
Free and paid parking is available.
A free shuttle is also available – Saturday Dec 11: 10am-11pm & Sunday Dec 12: 10am-7pm
What to Eat at Tomball Christmas Market
Christmas is a time to celebrate, and this festival never disappoints.
Good food and drink are plentiful everywhere you look, with highlights including hot pretzels, mulled wine, beer, hot chocolate, and Christmas Stollen – a special type of German fruit cake.
